I wanted a waffle iron to make healthier whole grain waffles for my two young sons because I was tired of paying a fortune for the healthy frozen waffles that tasted like cardboard. This is the perfect one for that purpose. It only makes one round waffle at a time so I'm not sure it would work for someone cooking for a large audience everyday, but it cooks them quickly and evenly.  I usually make a batch of 8 or 10 and freeze the ones we don't eat. They reheat very nicely in the toaster for mornings we're in a hurry.

Clean up couldn't be simpler. All in all, it doesn't have all the bells and...

I recevied the Cuisinart waffle maker as a house warming gift from my sister, who immediatly asked me to tear it open and start cooking away! I was a little hesitant at first, questioning the worth of making something from scratch when I could pay a couple bucks and have someone do it for me (thanks, Eggo!). I had no idea where to start: recipe? toppings? another appliance to take up my precious apartment cabinet space?

I was very pleased to find a recipe booklet included in the box, so my first worries were put to ease right then. I was even happier to see there was so much more than just "plain...

This is my second waffle maker in the past six months. The first one had a latch that broke within the first few uses. The Cuisinart Waffle Maker has no latch and is so simple to use. Fill it, close it, wait for the green light - done!  The waffles turn out perfectly. My one complaint is the overflow - the directions do not indicate how much batter is ideal and you have to guess. When you overestimate it overflows onto the front where the doneness selector is. It does clean up easily though.

I got this for a gift last Christmas and I was thinking ohhh great I hate cleaning these things that's why I don't make waffles anymore.  But I tried it because my kids wanted to try waffles and they just love them.  And MOM loves it because it's an easy clean up.  This isn't like the one I had before where it took a long time to clean years ago.

This is THE best waffle maker.  I have a small family of 3, so the smaller unit size doesn't bother us.  The clean-up is so easy and the even cooking surface is wonderful.  Also, we prefer a thinner waffle instead of the thick Belgian waffles so this is exactly perfect for us.  I really couldn't be more happy with my Cuisinart Waffle Maker!
