This is great. You can make one cup or two cups. The cups go right to your car. There is not warming plate, no leaving on, no waste of electricity. Using its cone style filter it makes a really great cup of coffee. I have used mine daily 4+ years. It goes well with my modern kitchen and I would definitely recommend this item. Perfect for that working couple. Great for college kids. Makes a great gift. I have really enjoyed having mine it has simplified life and seems to produce less waste then others. Certainly no plastic k cups to clog up the environment and I like that. I get a lot of compliments on my stylish travel cup and that makes it extra nice because I often feel smart. Brew Performance Excellent make a very full flavored coffee. It is fun experimenting with new flavors. No plastic k cups here. Ease of Cleaning Easy and simple. Ease of Use Very simple. Design Very modern looking for those with black and stainless items in their kitchens. Durability Definitely durable.

This model was among many, many models that I tried while in search of a machine that would brew directly into travel mugs. I loved the idea of this maker - that it would brew directly into travel mugs. The reality never really lived up to the expectation. I never could get the mugs positioned properly so that the coffee would brew directly into both the mugs at the same time. I could only ever get one to fill and then have to replace the full one with the empty one which defeated the purpose. I also felt that the maker was very cheap and flimsy. The area where you put the filter and grounds in felt very weak and like it was about to break off at any given moment. It never actually did, but I did only have the maker for a matter of ten days or so. I just never felt like this did what it was supposed to do and ended up giving it to a friend who would hopefully have better luck (she didn't and had to throw it out). It was just a huge disappointment.

I have had this coffee maker for several years now and have been extremely pleased with it since day 1. It brews a travel size cup of coffee in minutes, already in the travel mug so all you have to do is add the extras and put the lid on.

I love programmable coffee makers. I love being able to set it, get dressed and have fresh coffee ready right as I get up. I don't think there is much better than that. That being said, I also like to have coffee throughout the day (or morning at least) when I am home. This coffee maker is perfect for days when I am on-the-go and want some quick, easy coffee to fill up my travel mug. When I want to be lazy at home in the morning (and still have coffee basically "pre-made" for me), it doesn't work as well since it does only hold "3.5" cups (really more like 2-2 1/2 depending on mug size). While I realize that this is only a 3.5 cup coffee brewer, it still seems overkill to have 2 separate coffee makers, so we stick with one programmable one. For this reason, it would probably be better to (and we probably eventually will) upgrade to a larger coffee maker. I love that this will brew right into the travel mug so you can grab it and go. I love the fact that it's programmable, so you can set it and have the coffee going without having to do much on your part. It's super easy to clean and brews quickly and makes perfectly good coffee. If I had to go back, I would probably get a bigger one that might not brew into a travel mug, but would certainly hold more. Still, if you are super busy and are often on the go, this is a *great* choice!

I am not a big coffee drinker but I purchase this just to make a cup or two once in a while. And its great for just that. Its nice and simple, I make just enough as I need and it is there in the quickness. This coffee maker brews the coffee really fast and hot. I also really like how it comes with two travel coffee cups. So you can take it on the go, which is great! And the travel cups are the perfect size for the vehicle cup holders. If Im not taking it to go I brew the coffee into the travel mug and pur it into a regular mug, and its the perfect amount as to what I wanted. I no longer have extra coffee that goes straight down the drain. I would most definately recommended this product to all who like to keep it simple. Also I almost forgot to mention that its very easy to clean.

I have this unit at my workplace just so I can get some coffee whenever I need it. I work at the bank so we're always on our feet and constantly need an "upper." If anything, everyone loves using the machine because it's easy to brew fast and goes right into the cup that you're using, which results in less cups/dishes to wash. I guess my one grip is that it only makes 3.5 cups of coffee and since there are about 14 of us at one time, that seems to cause a line to form, so first come first serve. It brews pretty quickly because the heating unit is powerful so none of us ever have to wait long. It works well with all types of roasts and flavors and is easy to clean so we don't end up having some zombied mixture that could make you sick :)

The Cuisinart TTG-500 3.5-Cup Coffee Maker is a great simple little coffee maker. We got this as a gift and used it at home for a little while before my girlfriend claimed it for work. We didn't use it at home that often anyway so I figured we would get more use out of it this way. She absolutely loves having the Cuisinart TTG-500 3.5-Cup Coffee Maker at her desk because it's always right there, she can make whatever kind of coffee she wants, and it is nice looking with the black and steel colors. It brews fairly quickly since you are not making as much as a normal coffee pot and the travel cups it comes with are great. The cups are sturdy, have a grip on them, and are cool to the touch. Another reason this is great to have at work is that she will sometimes use it just to boil water in order to make oatmeal or whatever else you may need hot water for. Overall this is a great personal little coffee maker for home or the office.

This is a decent coffee maker, and it works out pretty well for me and my husband.  It makes his cup and my cup for when we go to work.  I love that it goes right into the individual carrying cups for the office.  It is however, a specialty item.  I have had family over, and unfortunately, this was our ONLY coffee maker, so I had to keep recycling the to-go cups (just to make it, then pour into regular coffee cups).  Yeah, that is NOT what it was meant to be used for, but there you go, how many coffee makers do you really want to have? The coffee stays pretty hot to work.  My commute is an hour, so admittedly it gets a little luke warm by then, if I haven't finished it already! The cups are easy to clean, and so is the coffee maker.  It does seem to take a while to make, but maybe I'm just anxious to get on the road. Overall, it's great, I have no regrets.  Just hard to use if you need to make more than two cups!

i got this coffee maker machine about six months ago because i liked how it came with two travel mugs and it pours directly into them.  it sounded like a great idea because of its compactness and minimal cleaning at the same.  boy was i wrong!  first of all, the mugs they come with are made of the cheapest possible plastic made on earth.  its the low quality kind where they absorb the smells and old coffee.  they scratch easily as well.  the mugs themselves are somewhat flimsy and low quality.  they do not hold the heat of the coffee well at all and forces you to drink it within an hour or so.   additionally, the coffee that this machine produces tastes like crap.  the temperature control on the machine is extremely bad.  the result is unpredictable resulting is coffee that is sometimes too hot (which burns the coffee beans) or not hot enough (which doesnt probably brew the coffee beans).  i eventually lost one of the mugs and that is not a good situation.  the machine becomes useless if you lose both mugs.   overall, DO NOT BUY!
