I have a lot of children and used to have a cheaper ice cream maker until I bought this one a year ago. Since then I have had many birthday parties, celebrations, and many other gatherings that involve children and adults alike that love ice cream. There is nithing better than homemade ice crean but the other ice cream makers only let you make a little and you usually have to freeze the bowl in your freezer. Not with the Cuisinart Supreme Commercial Quality Ice Cream Maker 50BC. It has a large capacity inside and a built in freezer. I have made endless ice cream sundaes, cones, and sandwiches consecutively without running into any problems. This is great for anyone who has kids, likes quality ice cream in about 20 minutes without to much hassle, or who entertains frequently. It is definately an attention getter and the kids like to get involved "helping" to make their very own homemade ice cream. Well worth the money. ICE CREAM... HOMEMADE... EASY.... what more is there to say?

You are really going to love this product!!!!!  I just bought a Cuisinart Classic Frozen Yogurt-     Ice Cream & Sorbet Maker, and i can honestly tell you it is one of the best decisions that i have ever made! You just pull out the freezable bowl and of course freeze it , then you mix your ice cream recipe together or your frozreat , whatever pleases you , put it in the bowl, turn this baby on and in about 20 minutes you will have your frozen treat!!! It makes a quart and a half of ice-cream, froxen yogurt, or serbert or even sorbets.there is no. and i mean, no messy clean-up! You do not need to add the old-fashioned thing called iceor even ice-cream salt for this to...

Cuisinart Supreme Commercial Quality Ice Cream Maker

I received this ice cream maker for my birthday several years ago, and I love it. For years, I had been trying to use the cheaper machines, where you put the bowls in the freezer, and for years, I was unable to produce really great ice cream. I live in a warmer climate, and I could never seem to get the ice cream to freeze properly in the summer, which resulted in ice crystals, etc.

In this maker, you have a built-in freezing unit, which ensures that the ice cream freezes properly, and it works great. You can make batch after batch without the need to wait until the bowl refreezes. You can set the timer and walk away. It's one of the best gifts I've gotten.

One down side, if there is any, ...

the best out there

This is a weapon of mass destruction, in that it makes the best ice cream. ever. i have used a lot of different ice cream makers in the past and used a bunch of different techniques, but this maker is much different. The cuisinart supreme commercial quality ice cream maker, #50BC is just simply the best that is available on the market, in my opinion. It makes speedy ice cream much faster than the smaller ice cream maker models, and it makes products that would make small ice cream shops cry in envy. I do love this product so so much because it is absolutely perfect in every way. I have had this maker in my house for a year and use it so regularly that we have stopped buying store bought ice cream!

GREAT ice cream maker!

My husband and I LOVE ice cream! We purchased a KitchenAid stand mixer along with the ice cream attachment. We LOVED it, but was not able to make the amount of ice cream we wanted. We began browsing the internet and found this. We could not be more happier with our purchase. We make ice cream for all of our family get togethers, and it's always a big hit. We've made ice cream for 8 hours straight and never had a problem with it! We use it frequently. It is not too loud, and the size surprised me! It fits under the counter in our cabinet. It makes just the right amount of ice cream to last us a few days--then we can make another flavor :) I would recommend the Ben and Jerry's recipe book with this as well.

Pricey but way worth it!

Overall

The Cuisinart Supreme Commerical Quality Ice Cream Maker #50BC is a perfect fit in my kitchen.  It is large and pricey, but those are the only downfalls.  And if you are a true ice cream lover, those won't even matter to you.  This ice cream maker is a stand alone machine, meaning that it has its own cooling system.  You do not have to put a bowl in the freezer first, like a traditional ice cream maker.  Also, because it freezes the ice cream by itself, you don't have to wait 24 hours to freeze the bowl before hand.  You can also make batch after batch without having to wait for the bowl to refreeze.  This is perfect for me because I do not have extra room in my freezer for multiple bowls and I do not want to wait an extraordinant amount of time to make different flavors of ice cream. The clean up is also easy, just pop out the bowl and paddle, rinse out and use mild soap, and your done, clean.  I would recommend this product to anyone who truly loves their ice cream.

The Cuisinart ICE-50BC is for people who are serious about ice cream.

It's easy to operate and just as easy to clean. You can make your favorite flavor in around a hour. There's no bowls to freeze, you can make one batch after another.

I really enjoy mine. Worth the money really happy with the Cusinart ICE-50BC ice cream maker.
