At $39 this machine makes making ice cream easy and fun.  With three little kids who love ice cream, this machine has provided some great weekend kitchen time.  As long as you keep the container in the freezer, you can whip up a quart of ice cream on an impulse.  We have tried versions with just...

I have had this ice cream maker for about four years and it works well.  There is a round bowl that is kept in the freezer until you want to use it to make ice cream.  It's easy to use and simple to clean.  The major complaint I have is that the ice cream isn't frozen hard enough and it must be put... read full review »

My husband and I enjoy ice cream. Okay, he LOVES ice cream. When we first got married we had a gift card for Bed Bath and Beyond. We went looking around the store. He was begging for an ice cream maker.
I thought about it and set up a couple rules if I said yes. First, no more store bought. Second, not using whole milk or heavy cream for ice cream making every time. He agreed to the terms.
So, we bought the Cuisine Art Automatic Ice Cream Maker.
We got it home and we excitedly opened the package. There is a main base which holds the outlet plug and an on/off switch. Then there is the tub, which...

This is by far the easiest way to make homemade ice cream! This machine makes it so easy for you to have all natural, homemade, great tasting ice cream and sherbet in about 30 minutes. It's just a wonderful addition to my kitchen appliances and very well worth the $50 it goes for. Homemade ice cream just has an amazing taste and with having this machine around its well worth the investment to be able to enjoy such great tasting treats.

The CuisinArt Ice Cream Maker works great and is fun to use.  I remember making ice cream in girl scouts as a kid, which involved two coffee cans, on inside the other, some salt and ice and kicking the cans up and down a hill.  The CuisinArtc Ice Cream Maker is a much funner and easier way to make ice cream and you get a great product when done.  All the peices fit together and come apart easily, making the CuisinArt Ice Cream Maker easy to use and a piece of cake to clean.  The freezer bowl takes a little while to freeze enough to work well, but as long as you think ahead (or store the bowl...

My boyfriend makes ice cream in the CuisinArt Ice Cream Maker all of the time. It is a quick and easy way to make homemade ice cream. He has a great recipe that also makes it low fat and low in sugar, but it tastes awesome. It reminds of being a kid when Mom and Dad would have homemade ice cream on special family get togethers. But, with the CuisinArt Ice Cream Maker, you don't have to wait for a special occasion, it is so easy that you can have it anytime.

Making your own ice cream is great because you can control what you put in it. So, if you love ice cream but want to control the fat or sugar,...

So when my wife said that she'd like to try and make icecream at home, I started researching my options.  I was drawn to the CuisinArt ICE 20 as it had some excellent reviews.  Now there are bigger and better models of icecream makers out there, but if you are just "playing" around with making ice cream this is the way to go.

Makes an excellent churned icecream with little work, and the cleanup is remarkably easy.  You pour in the batter, plug it in, and check on it occasionally.  Two things to remember though...one is that you MUST freeze the chiller bowl for at least 4 hours before starting...

This was actually a gift. Neither my wife nor I have any inkling about how to make Ice cream. Which was just as well as this machine is very easy to use. We have a two year old granddaughter in the house and she loves getting to act grown up and helping in the kitchen. This is perfect to share with the kids. Even the toddlers can join in the fun.

My daughter had wanted to make all kinds of fancy ice cream in this thing like Chai, and Pumpkin Latte and the like and I'm sure it will be great for those exotic things too. We just made old fashioned strawberry after a day at the U-pick farm and rewarded...

I received this Ice Cream maker as a gift last year from my in-laws. At first I wasn't too thrilled with it. It seem like it would be a hassle to freeze the canister every time you needed to use it (16 hours before!) BUT then I realized I could just keep the container in the freezer so as to be ready to make ice cream ALL the time! Since we bought it (and discovered how useful it REALLY is!) we have only bought store made ice cream twice - when we were having company - since this is sort of a smaller machine and really doesn't make enough for more than 6 people MAX. Overall, I have been nothing...

This ice cream maker is incredibly easy to use and makes amazing ice cream and sorbet. All you need to do is put the bowl in the freezer overnight, then mix the ingredients and place it on the base for about 20-30 minutes. The flavor choices are endless. I've expiremented with some candies and liqueur's and they've all been delicious. The ice cream will last a few weeks in the freezer and I reccomend getting plastic containers similar to this: http://www.instawares.com/fabri-kal-alur-16oz-apet-clear-deli-container.fabrd16.0.7.htm to store it. They give you a recipe book so you can make vanilla...

The Cuisinart Ice Cream maker makes a great quart of ice cream, if used properly. My most common flubs are becuase of not waiting for the chamber to cool properly, not putting in cold enough ingredients (DO NOT PUT IN WARM CREAM, IT WILL NOT FREEZE), and issues of texture for sorbets and gelatos.

This is not a gelato maker and it cannot create the stuff. It is absolutely wonderful for making ice cream with coconut milk for those who are lactose intolerant. A favorite recipe: two cans of coconut milk and one container of nutella. Combine the ingredients on the stoke and whisk until fully incorporated....
