I have really enjoyed my Cuisinart ice cream maker. It is quick and easy, and in about 35 minutes I have fresh ice cream in any flavor I can dream up. It works very well, is fairly quiet, and easy to clean up. I always leave the bowl in the freezer so it is ready when we get a craving for ice cream. Also, it works well for us because we do not eat ice cream all the time so when we buy cartons they tend to get freezer burn before we can finish them. The only negative I can think of is that it takes about a day in my deep freezer for the bowl to completely freeze. The recipes need revising.
