Cuisinart Grind & Brew Thermal 10-Cup Automatic Coffeemaker —

First of all, it has a removable filter basket. Which I've removed- permanently. I found that after using the basket, I had little coffee bean bits floating in my morning cup. My suggestion: keep buying the filters. They're cheap and last a while so it's really no trouble. The only other problem I've had is the grinder sticks in coffee maker and I have to use two spoons as a sort of makeshift leverage system to pop it out. But that could just be my fault. Though I clean it after every use, I find that my brother (who owns the same coffee maker) has no trouble with his. The last problem I've found is that the carafe itself can be hard to clean unless you have small hands that can fit inside it. I usually just let some dishsoap swish around with hot water and it seems to clean well enough. The rest of the parts I just pop in the dishwasher. Other than that, this is a GREAT coffee maker. Thanks to the insulated double walled carafe, I can make coffee in the morning and still have a nice warm cup waiting for me when I get home. No more burnt coffee. Because it grinds and brews in the same pot, it makes the freshest coffee and it makes it FAST. And even if it's not quite fast enough for you, you can just pull the pot out, it'll pause the brewing process and begin again when you put the pot back in place, allowing you to grab some hot coffee mid-brew. The perfect pick-me-up on that groggy Monday morning.
