Cuisinart Grind & Brew Thermal Coffee Maker Review

I received the Cuisnart Coffee Maker as a house warming gift in 2005.  I love it.  I love being able to grind my beans fresh everytime I'm ready from some coffee ... and I cannot live without it.  I also love the carafe and my coffee staying nice and hot without getting that burned taste.  YUCK!

After having it for several years, it is a pain to clean every time and the inside of the coffee maker gets quite dirty.  I have to give it a good cleaning every couple of weeks.  The grinder has started "acting up" by getting stuck in the machine and I practically need a crow bar to get it out!  My husband did find that you can buy replacement parts for it, which is great because I think I'm bulking up too much from pulling out the grinder!!  Also the section that holds the ground beans has started getting stuck and will pop out of me in mid brew.  I have to watch it now.  It doesn't happen everytime, but maybe 50% of the time.  A little annoying, but not worth me buying a new one.

 Overall, I love the coffee maker and it has worked well for the past 3 years!
