The grind and brew was my favorite kitchen appliance for the first two years that I owned it.  It made the best tasting coffee even from so-called cheap beans.  Unfortunately trying to keep up with the cleaning of this machine is just more time consuming then I'm willing to spend on a coffee maker.  After each use, the machine needs to be completely disassembled and each piece washed and thoroughly dried before making another batch.  Upon trying to change this every-time chore into an every other time chore my machine gunked up after about a year.  I have now owned this product for three years.  It still makes coffee from grounds, but the grinder no longer works.  If you are willing to invest the time needed for this machine it is a great product, if not, it's not worth the money.
