I purchased the new grill to replace a much older sandwich maker. We liked the idea of a 5-in-1 machine that we could use more often with different dishes. The plates on this one are SO EASY they practically clean themselves! All I have to do is rinse them off in the sink and use a soft sponge to get off the excess and voila; it's done!  My family loves to make waffles with this Griddler. They're delicious!! and don't stick to the plates even though we don't use cooking spray (they're really huge waffles too). This grill is getting used so much it hasn't moved from our countertop.

I love this grill! I had another one just like it that my ex-roommate took when they left, but I just bought it again because I love it so much. The plates are easy to clean and it seems to heat to a good temperature for grilling without burning everything. They even have waffle plates you can buy to snap on too. The fact that it folds down into a griddle is also a great feature.

I adore this product. I use this more than I use any other product in my kitchen. I love that this product can be used as a griddle or a grill. I use this product to make pancakes, grilled cheeses, panini's, grilled meats and vegetables. I love that I can make two grilled cheeses at a time instead of one in a pan on the stove at a time. I love that I can make burgers or other grilled meats easily. This product is super easy to use and easy to clean. I love that the grill pans can be taken off and cleaned separately. The grill is also fairly small so storage is not an issue. I live in a pretty small house with a tiny kitchen so this is a must have product. Performance Cooks evenly. I love that I can use this product for so many different foods. I can make four small chicken breast or eight chicken tenders in a matter of minutes. I can make two huge or fours small burgers in just a matter of minutes. I can have dinner on the table in no time. Durability I have had this product for two years. I use it each and every week. The product works like it did the first day I used it. Ease of Cleaning The grill pans can be removed and washed. I usually have to soak the pans for a few minutes in hot soapy water. After that, the pans wipe clean very easily. The actual grill also needs to be wiped down. I use little cleaning wipes for this. Ease of Use Super easy to use and so fast!

This is a great little griddle. You can make delicious grilled sandwiches, Grill burgers, chicken, and tons of other hot meals. This is an awesome way to cook just about anything. Performance Works just like a grill or skillet. Durability Have had mine for 3 years and it's still cookin up meals for me. Ease of Cleaning This is the only downside. But the griddle plates pop off so you can soak them and get them clean. It's the same as cleaning any other pan. Ease of Use Very easy to control heat with knobs.

It is very versatile and you can cook a lot of stuff with the grill or griddle side. At first, you might need to get use to how quick it can cook things up and get overcooked. But once you get the hang of it along with the usage of the three temperature knobs for whatever you making and cooking, which should be pretty quick, everything goes very smoothly and great! One of the favorite part that I love is probably the grease catcher, makes it much easier to deal with all the grease and fats, so less hassle too. Performance It is pretty much perfect to me. Works very smoothly and easy to use, no problem and headaches. xP Durability I had it for a few years already and still great but then I don't use it every day or weekly like some people would, so not sure if that would affect anything. Ease of Cleaning Really easy to click, no trouble at all with this. :) Ease of Use Very easy to use. I don't think anyone should have any trouble with it. :P It is just plain out easy to use and really just common sense on figuring it out.

I have had this product for about a year and I absolutely love it! It browns nicely on both sides, it heats evenly on both plates, the drip plate catches the grease, and it is very easy to clean because of the removable plates. What is also good is that the grill opens to lay flat, creating a large/double flat grilling surface (great for pancakes, eggs, bacon, burgers). I especially enjoy the controlled temperature selections, which my old George Foreman grill did not have. I had to write this, because I read the other reviews and wanted prospective buyers to know that I have not had the issues with this appliance that others' stated. My friend got one for a wedding gift last year and loves it. My sister has one at her summer cottage for quick meals/sandwiches/breakfast, and loves it. Everyone in my family has been pleased. Buy it, and enjoy easy grilling and quick clean up. It is so easy to use and performs so well!

I really like this griddler. I got this one after my other one died. I didnt want to spend the 200 bucks that I paid for my other one (even tho it lasted 9 years).. so I went with this one for just under 100 bucks. Im impressed. Performance It has so many uses, as any griddler does. it is easy to use with butttons that are easy and easy to read. Nothing "high tech" annoying about this one. Durability This is a very durable brand, and structure. I truly like that it is stainless steel, and feels like it will last forever! Ease of Cleaning Any griddler is a task to clean, as its not like they fit right in the dishwasher, and some things stick, like they do in any pan, this is no different. Its not a pain in the but, no soaking, but some light scrubbing is needed if you dont clean often. (i like to "season" mine). But it wasnt a pain, so I think you will see its quite easy. Ease of Use Its very easy to use. I wouldnt let my young child use it, but my teen is a pro. I think for weary parents teaching children to cook, this is perfect to start on. The buttons, and controls are simple, and not hard to read. i think you will simply love this one!

Received this 5-in-1 electric grill as a wedding gift. It is a bit pricey, BUT it can do several jobs and saves you from buying individual appliances that only do ONE job. Love breakfast? It can make eggs, bacon, sausage, and pancakes. Are you a sandwich type of person? No problem, it grills good sandwiches and makes the perfect panini. Like some meat for dinner? Sure thing! "Grill" up some burgers, steaks, fish, or chicken. Not a meat person? Then throw on some vegetables or even tofu. This 5-in-1 grill really does it all. It's definitely not the smallest small appliance around, but you avoid having to buy a sandwich makes, an electric griddle, an indoor grill, a pancake maker, etc. I would rather store one appliance than many appliances. I love the fact that the plates are nonstick and interchangeable. They are quite heavy and built solid. I once dropped one and not a dent or scratch on it. You can use it to make breakfast and then later that evening switch out the plates to make burgers. It's super easy to clean and haven't had any issues with food items being left stuck on. Great for families or singles and very versatile.

On my particular unit, the grease does not drain, instead pours out the front and sides, creating a huge mess. In addition, it spattered all over me - that was the last time I used it. Clearly the unit is defective. Cuisinart will not replace unless I pay a shipping charge. Since I already paid to have this shipped to me once, I don't see why I should pay again, since the unit is defective. But, can't get anywhere with Cuisinart. Lesson learned.
