I love everything that Cuisinart makes, I have their pans and food processors the most.  They are really expensive but well worth it.  It can handle large quantities and can even knead bread dough.  It sometimes makes some scary noises when you are making dough but it powers through everything.  I use mine for making pesto, tart dough and everything else.  It chops vegetables beautifully and purees like a dream.  I definitely think this is an investment piece.  If you like to cook this is a must-have.  I can't imagine not having this gadget in my kitchen.  I use it for so many things and...

I resist buying single-purpose kitchen gadgets, so for years I chopped, diced, and sliced by hand. Finally I bought my Cuisinart, realized that it has many uses, and have never looked back.

The processor comes with three commonly used blades, a recipe book, and a video that demonstrates use of each blade and some of the recipes. Slice a cucumber faster than you can say the word. Blend spreads and create other appetizers quickly. The only part that you can't put in the dishwasher is the motor!

The Cuisinart food processor bowl can easily tackle my largest projects, yet chops garlic so fine you can't find it in the dish you just added it to!  I

t is easy to assemble and disassemble for cleaning, except for the top part that slides up and down.  It gets stuff caught between the inner and outer sleeve and it is hard to get out.  It should be made so it can be completely disassembled for cleaning.

I was given a Cuisinart Food processor two and a half years ago as a gift when I got married, and at the time I didn't think I would use it that much.  Boy was I wrong!!  I use it all the time and for a variety of things.  First off let me tell you what it comes with.  It has the motor base, a bowl, dough blade, mixing/chopping blade, shredder disk, slicing disc, pusher tube, spatula, manual and a VHS tape telling you how to use your food processor.  Of all the items that it came with the only thing I have not used is the VHS tape (because I don't have a VCR).
