Cuisinart Food Processor Review

We had been browsing the Internet for about a week looking for a suitable food processor when we came upon the very reasonably priced "Cuisinart Smart Power Duet Blender/Food Processor" that we purchased. Although we wish that our Cuisinart came with additional processor blades (it comes with just two; one for general food processing and one for slicing and shredding), this product is well suited to our needs. It is also easy to clean and saves on counter space because it serves as a blender as well as a food processor. We use our Cuisinart for everything from chopping vegetables to making nut butters, juices, shakes and even hummus! Two other features we would like are a larger bowl capacity (ours is just 3 cups) and the ability to process hot food and liquids (the manual cautions against putting anything too hot into the processor).

In addition to our overall satisfaction with our Cuisinart, I must compliment the company on their great customer service! Shortly after we purchased the appliance, my husband experienced a problem with getting it to function properly. I called Customer Service and got a speedy and extremely courteous resolution, as well as additional suggestions to increase the productivity of this great product.  The full year warranty also rocks.
