review »The Cuisinart DLC-5 Food Processor is one of my favorite kitchen gadgets.
I've used it for salami (ultra-thin!, couldn't cut it that thin with a knife, so it lasts longer), cheese, veggies, purees, salsa's, bread dough...almost anything you can think of in the food department. I don't like to take a lot of time when I cook, so this has been a great addition to my kitchen.
It has great safety features to prohibit one from accidentally slicing off one's fingers. These safety features do make it a little difficult to put together if, like me, you try to do things without first reading the instructions....
review »why was i so long with out it/! now thinking back its like i was pregnant and once i had my baby i forgot what being pregnant felt like. i dont know or maybe choose not to remember how long it took me to make meals this litterally cut my time in half or more grading cheese for example took me so long especially because i half a large family i would have to grate huge blocks of cheese and not to mention the whole arm cramping up and feeling like i had just done a 3 hour work out! not i can just cut the cheese up in sections dump it in and do something else i get so much more done around the kitchen...
