How do I use this.....let me count the ways!  I do a lot of cooking and this little machine is one of the most valuable things in my kitchen.  With both a chop and grind setting it can do anything from chop boneless chicken breasts to bite-sized pieces to grinding nuts to a fine consistency.  Whenever I cook I probably use this 99% of the time.  It makes quick work of vegetables so I can have soup simmering on the stove in minutes. It does have it's limits.  If you want to do a large amount of something you probably need your larger food processor but for the smaller jobs, this does the trick! ... review »

I've mostly used this for making homemade pesto and salad dressings.  I grow basil in my garden and the last 2 years I've used my food processor to grind up the basil leaves along with the other goodies to make pesto.  Yum YUM!  I love the power this little baby has.   It is very easy to clean!  Just watch yourself on the sharp blades!  I thought I'd just need this small one, but I think in the future I might invest in the larger one.

I received the Quisinart Mini-Prep as a Christmas gift and didn't really know how I was actually going to use it since it seemed so small. Once I started using it, I can't live without it. It is perfect for make sauces when you don't want to use a blender or a large food processor and make a huge mess. It also works really well for grinding spices, nuts, and coffee beans quickly. It's great for quickly chopping herbs. However, my favorite way to use it is for making small batches of baby food for my daughter. She doesn't eat purees very much anymore, but sometimes I still need to cut her food into...

This little processor is great.  Its easy to use and is easy to clean up afterwards.  If you are only looking for a small processor, this is the one for you.  It was not overly priced, either.  I have used it to chop semi soft swiss cheese and its chopped it fabulously.  It fits in a small space.  Only problem is putting away all the attachments it came with. Haven't used any of the  attachments yet, so we will see how it goes.

This little gadget gets used all the time in my tiny kitchen - and just as much when I've had big kitchens! It's compact enough to keep close at hand, easy to clean and does the job well. Powerful little chopper. It's only got two settings, chop or grind, but if you're making something simple like pesto or salsa, it's absolutley perfect!

The mini-prep is a great alternative to an expensive clunky food processor. It doesn't hold much (it is after all mini) but is perfect for making dips, pesto, grinding nuts, or numerous other little tasks.

It is easy enough to clean but can be a pain to assemble at times.

I love to cook and any new gadget that hits the market I love to try it out. I am expecting a baby soon and am basically starting out from scratch, since I am not considered a spring chicken anymore! My husband and I are in our mid to late 40's and are thrilled about our new arrival!

We love this little chopper.  It works great and is really easy to clean.  It makes everything come out evenly chopped and mixed.  We got the black and stainless model and it matches our appliances and looks great.  Well worth the price.
