This is a great coffee maker if you prefer really fresh coffee. However if you like your coffee exceptionally strong the grinder might be a little small in volume. I definitely like the adjustable temperature settings this coffee maker provides as most coffee makers tend to be a little on the too hot side for immediate drinking. Cleaning is a little more work as you need to clean the grinder/basket assembly, grinder cover and basket cover each time you grind beans. Still, a great coffee maker if you enjoy fresh ground coffee

I'm a bean fanatic. I rarely use coffee that's been "pre-ground," so when my last coffee pot broke, my mother-in-law picked up this Cuisinart for me. I loved the concept of a coffee pot with a built in grinder. However, I've found it to be a messy experience. Moisture from the drip gets up into the grinder and makes a pasty mess. But the bottom line is...it makes a great cup of coffee. I clean out the grinder before starting a new pot & let it go. I'd recommend this machine.

Great, except coffee doesn't stay hot long.

great coffee pot, but I cannot find the inside filter replacement. It is a small filter (about 2 inches) and I just wish it would have come with a couple extra in the box.

The pot is nice looking, easy to clean, and has the stopper at the top so you can take the pot out before it is finished brewing.

 I would recommend it to others...I have had it for a couple years, and it seems that the burner is wearing out, but that seems to happen with all coffee pots.

fresh Ground is best

I received this as a b-day gift and I have used it everyday, I clean it immediately after using and its always ready for the next day, the grinder is a little loud but I just consider it part of the alarm clock( I set it to have the coffee ready for me when I wake up) I know when I hear the grinder that I have 15 minutes, on the week-ends I don't set the alarm I just press the button when I get up, what a great gift that I think of my special person every morning!!

The judge I work for gave me a gift card for Christmas a year ago, and I found this coffeemaker on sale.  I LOVE it!  Yes, there can be a bit of a mess, but the coffee is worth the cleanup.  I like the fact the safety features won't allow the pot to work, if there are parts missing or the lid isn't shut.  I think it looks nice on the counter, but the coffee it makes is wonderful.
