I am SOOOOO happy that I splurged on the Cuisinart Compressor Ice Cream and Gelato Maker (ICE-100). While it was a little more that I was planning on spending on such a superfluous kitchen appliance, this Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker is a quality machine that will be around in my family for generations to come. Unlike other ice cream makers on the market today, the Cuisinart Compressor Ice Cream and Gelato Maker ICE-100 is one of the few machines that will not only make ice cream, but gelato as well! Other machines do sorbets and frozen yogurt, but I love that I can experiment making my own gelato too! My Cuisinart ice cream maker was extremely easy to assemble. The machine came with an extensive manual that answered more question than I could even think of. In addition, it came with some amazing recipes too! I have not tried them all yet, but by the end of the summer I'm sure that I will even have come up with some of my own! I love how easy the Cuisinart Compressor Ice Cream Maker is to use. I don't even have to worry about pre-freezing it! Please note: The ICE-100 Cuisinart Compressor Ice Cream and Gelato Maker is not the perfect machine. It's a little large, a little loud, and a little overpriced. However, I am perfectly happy on splurging a bit to make tasty diet splurges at home.
