This is my third Coffee on Demand Coffee Maker. My first one broke after a few months ..(coffee release lever stopped working) and was replaced free of charge. After a year, the same thing happened but it was out of warrenty, so I bought a new one.
Coffee Maker makes good coffee and I love the no carafe feature. However, it has a top fill and is hard to get the water in the proper place to keep it from leaking. Everytime I fill it, I have a major leak.
There is a two hour and four hour shut-off timer, side view panel showing water level, gauge showing coffee level (although it's not...
review »I had purchased several Mr. Coffee makers in a few months. I was so disappointed with Mr. Coffee I vowed never to purchase one again. So my search started for a new coffee maker. I only drink 4 cups a day but wanted a maker able to make 12 for company. I also wanted it to make good tasting coffee since I don't always get to sit right down and enjoy it. My friend suggested the cuisinart coffee on demand. I purchased it at sam's club. Still skeptical I didn't throw out the box, until I tried it for a week. It was hard to get used to not having a carafe. I wasn't sure if I liked...
review »What a wonderful coffee maker the Cuisinart coffee on demand coffee maker is. It holds coffee in a storage unit instead of a glass caraff. No more broken caraff! After brewing, you push the lever and fill your cup. I purchased this as a gift for my husband 2 years ago. He considers himself a "coffee conasuer". He loves it. The unit had a clock. It is programable. It had a two or four hour warm setting timer and automatically shuts off. There is a beeper that lets you know when the coffee is done, and another to let you know when the pots turns off. The coffee never tastes...
review »This is my favorite over any coffee maker I have ever had in the past. I love the way it looks on my counter top. It has kind of a retro flair to it. I love the gauge on the front that tells you when it is full or empty. I love serving strait into a cup from the machine. It cleans up easy and is easy to fill and prepare for the next day. The Cuisinart Coffee on Demand is now on my list for wedding shower and house warming gifts. It has a water filter compartment that is easy to change. The filters are carried at a local retailer that always sends out coupons to the neighborhoods. ...
review »This coffee maker makes up to 12 cups and is programmable. It has a dial similar to the gas indicator in your car to show how much coffee is left in the brewer. It also acts as a dispenser so you can "pour" the coffee directly into your mug. Its stainless steel finish is very nice in a modern kitchen.
