The Cuisinart coffee bean grinder does a great job grinding coffee; my son, who is very particular about his coffee, grinds beans daily and swears by it.  I have a Cuisinart that I use only for herbs and flax seeds.  I bake my own bread so that I can add special ingredients to boost the healthful qualities of the food we eat.  Flax seed, especially, is an additive that must be ground in order to be of real benefit but it is a very hard seed to crack.  Grinding with a mortar has not been satisfactory and the seeds are so slippery that my food processor doesn't do the job.  The Cuisinart coffee...

I love everything with the name cuisinart attached to it as they are the best! This coffee grinder is priced well and is so easy to use that it makes good coffee taste great! There is nothing like the smell of freshly brewed coffee in the morning and you pop the beans in and it grinds the beans so fast, you are done before you know it. The grinder is compact and very easy to clean.
