Most HelpfulI actually like this coffee maker, but it is only 5 months old a it drips the whole 12 cups out. What a mess. They want $10.00 to send me another one and I have to pay $10.00 to send this one back. That's a major rip off considering how much it cost in the first place.
My mother gave this to my hubby for Christmas and we love it!! It is really sleek looking in our kitchen and I like that you can just put your cup right in and press the button to get your desired cup of joe!! A big plus for us is that the kids can "pour" daddy a cup of coffee without getting burned or spilling.....well - they can overfill the cup - but, you know - it is still fun!!!
beeps when ready and there is also a warning beep that it is turning off! so cool!
I live in the Pacific Northwest and that means I love my coffee! I purchased this coffee maker three years ago at Williams Sonoma and loved it for the first two and a half years. It is easy to use, takes up a reasonable amount of counter space and we loved the Empty to Full shtick!
One year after we purchased the coffee maker, the dispenser nozzle began dripping when coffee was in the warming reservoir. We just kept a little stainless steel cup underneath the drip and lived with it for awhile. One morning when I went to give the coffee maker a thorough cleaning, I discovered that a small piece...
read full review »This coffeepot makes some of the best coffee I've ever had. It keeps coffee warm at a good temperature so that I do not need to put the coffee in a carafe. Unfortuneately, to clean, the inside reservoir must me removed. This is an awkward process. The reservoir and basket may be washed in the dishwasher on the top rack which is convenient. Sometimes the machine stops working and I have to empty it out and turn it upside down till it dries out. Overall, I am satisfied with the machine. My husband really loves it, especially because it does not have a pot. We are currently using a...
read full review »The cuisinart DCC-2000 is my favorite coffee pot thus far. It was a gift from a friend. I knew she had the same type of coffee maker and I always loved going to her house to have coffee. It just always tasted better from her coffee maker than it ever did from mine. It has a water filter which helps to rid the chemicals from the water that can taint the flavor of the coffee. You're supposed to use filtered water anyway when making coffee, so this just saves me that extra step. I also like how it just dispenses one cup at a time. I have found that in the past with other coffee pots...

I was so happy with it makes a great cup of coffee and it can be programmed to keep your coffee hot for 4 hours which is great also. It is now 3 months since I have started using it and already it is messing up. What is going on with is Cuisinart? It stops brewing before it is halfway through with the water so I have to turn it off and on until I get the job finished. Mind you this is a 100.00 dollar coffee brew station. Luckily It is under warranty and they are sending me another but it is on back...
read full review »I have had about 8 to 10 Cuisinart "on demand" coffee makers. why so many? Because they make very good coffee and I like just pushing my coffee cup against the lever and voila! coffee -- no pot to break as well. And again -why so many--because the electrical system would go out -the longest lasting was about 7 months. It would take a while and get expensive returning to the company-needless to say the time involved packing, going to the postoffice and mailing. Then no coffee pot for a week. Then I discovered they carried a cheaper model At Sams Club and it was quicker to return the pot thereso...

However, it brews a very tasty cup of coffee and it is piping hot! After the first machine conked out I didn't want to spend a lot of money so I purchased a Mr. Coffee (ugh). Then I purchased the Keurig (another mistake) along with a ton of different flavors and the coffee tasted horrible. I made a swap with my daughter who had the Cusinart. She is happy with the Keurig and I am thrilled to have the Cuisinart. Though I was disappointed that the...
read full review »The best coffee maker ! Easy to operate, clean and assemble. No paper filters needed with the mesh permanent filter cup the machine comes with! Just wash with soap and water and it is ready to use again. I have had for 1 year and wonderful! No glass carafe to worry about. Programable for the night before, beeps when it is finished brewing. Keeps coffee warm and does not burn the coffee! Just put your favorate cup or mug or what you drink from and press the lever to fill!
Purchased this coffee maker at Bed Bath & Beyond. The newspaper had a 20 percent coupon for anything in their store. I paid...
read full review »This coffee maker saves me so much time and the programming is so easy. The coffee tastes wonderful and i believe it is the built in water filter. The Cuisinart DCC-2000 coffee maker is the way to go, if you are looking for: ease, convenience and taste. You can not only program a time to begin brewing but you can also set it to go off whenever you like. The (fuel) gauge is convenient in letting you know its almost time to make another pot.The basket that holds the coffee lifts out for easy cleaning. There is no burning or scorching the coffee and you'll never burn or break the pot.I recommend this...
