I read many reviews before deciding to buy the "Cuisinart PSC-650 6.5 Quart Programmable Slow Cooker", in brushed stainless steel. I noticed right after purchase in 2008, that the cheaply made "stainless" steel exterior stained from finger oils when you touch it. These staines were permanent. The steel... review »

Modern American life leaves those with families precious little time to function like the families of yesteryear.  Between the job commutes, working out, kids, chores, and other pressures, there is little time to cook a decent dinner.  I do the majority of cooking in our household and it is something I enjoy, but it is increasingly hard to accomplish because of my ever demanding schedule. 

I had two slow cookers; one small 2 quart model and a larger 4 quart multiple setting unit.  But all too often my slow cook meals turn out bland and tasteless and despite numerous attempts to spice things...

I am very pleased with this slow cooker. It really makes making dinner a breeze. You can just pop something in there in the morning and let it cook for 8, 9, 10 even up to 12 hours depending on what you are making. The cooker comes with a book of recipes but there are also endless amounts of recipes online.  You can make hearty beef and chicken meals or whatever, chicken catacciore, etc. that make it look like you were in the kitchen all day. It is healthy because there is not as much fat/ grease as frying. It also uses less electricity then turning on your whole oven. The meat gets juicy and... review »

We were late on the Slow Cooker train, but love this. We love that you can take out the insert and either store it in the fridge or just serve from it. It is easy to clean and we have had quite a success rate with this product.

Convenient, Reliable.

We enjoy the convenience of this slow cooker.  We have the model with the insert that can go in the oven and then in the crockpot.  This saves time on the cleanup. 

 

Reliable and does everything you ask of it.
