Just received my 12 cup Cuisinart Brew Central Programmable Coffeemaker DCC1200 as an exchange for a broken DCC100 Coffee Bar ($19). I was looking for a high quality coffeemaker as I have grown to love some of the exotic coffees out there now.  Research pointed me toward Cuisinart.  For $70 (Costco pricing) I was able to get a brushed stainless steel digital programmable drip coffee maker.  While the time function… read full review »

I have an older model of this excellent drip coffee maker from the good people at Cuisinart, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Whether you're brewing freshly ground organic Sumatran or something off of the grocery store shelf, the Brew Central will bring out the best in your coffee. Thanks to its gold-mesh filter, there is no need for those pesky paper filters that inevitably add the taste of wet newspaper to your morning eye-opener. — I can vouch for the durability of this machine, as I have been making coffee on it most every morning for the past five years, and it… read full review »

Just received my 12 cup Cuisinart Brew Central Programmable Coffeemaker DCC1200 as an exchange for a broken DCC100 Coffee Bar ($19). Very nice touch from an excellent company named Cuisinart. — — The unit itself is just beautiful with its clean lines & the always white finish (or you can buy black). A wet rag cleans it nicely. The carafe is drip proof, no more hot coffee running on the floor or my feet as Mr Coffee pots did. You also can sneak a cup before the brew cycle is complete. — — A charcoal water filter is inserted in the holder after a soak to remove the… read full review »

Once upon a time I had a beautiful blue Kitchenaid coffee make that made wonderful coffee & looked great sitting on my counter.  Much to my chagrin I was notified that it was subject to a recall so for safety I packed it up & shipped it off.  The replacement they sent me (for free) was a completely different model since my previous one was no longer made.  The least of my complaints was that it was white; the biggest was that due to a design flaw in the pause-&-serve feature, it overflowed quite frequently.  Imagine my frustration!  To their credit Kitchenaid offered… read full review »

Great coffee maker!  East to program, easy to use, brews quickly, easy to clean, great looking!  It's the whole package!!   I would highly recommend it.  Got mine on sale at LinensNThings, used my 20% off coupon, ended up paying what I'd would've paid for a cheapie coffee maker at WalMart.  Stainless steel looks great in my kitchen. … read full review »

I may not be a coffeeholic, but I do know a good cup of black coffee. This maker is the best for the money. Scrap your Mr. Coffees' add a few extra bucks to what your willing to spend and buy a Cuisinart. You won't regret it. —… read full review »

I bought this pot because it was on sale and had the features that I wanted in coffee pot.  I now know I would have paid more if I had known how good the pot works.  I use both pre-ground coffee and freshly ground whole bean coffee.  Pot makes coffee well and the strength selector actually works! This pot is easy to clean and setting it up to make coffee using the autobrew cycle is also easy.  I make at least two pots a day and have no complaints to make.  I would definitely buy this pot again.  Ironically, I didn't want to purchase this pot initially because I… read full review »

We purchased our DCC-1200W about a year ago, and are very satisfied with it. It often goes on sale for about $80, and we were able to get an additional 10% off at Macy's. The fill cavity is not the best but I've learned to pour water into it with my left hand while resting the bottom of the carafe on the opposite corner, and tipping/pouring slowly. It brews a consistently good pot of coffee each time. The DCC-1200W also has a setting for brewing 4 cups or less. This comes in handy on work days when my wife and I each have a single mug of coffee before leaving home. It let's us… read full review »

I have used many coffee makers in the last 15 years, as we drink a lot of coffee. My machine usually runs 18 out of 24 hours.. This coffee maker outshines all of my previous ones. — — It has many great features, such as an easy to clean stainless steel body, easily changeable charcoal filters, adjustable temperature keep warm base, and easy fill, but the one I like the most is the stay hot timer. It can be set for one to four hours, and beeps when it shuts off. — — It makes a consistently great cup of coffee, is easy to clean and maintain, and has not let me down… read full review »

We received this coffee pot as an early wedding present and I love it.  We couldn't wait for the wedding and started using it right away.  — It is easy to use, easy to program and has an automatic shut off so no scalded coffee ever.  It even comes with a charcoal water filter and gold tone filter as well as a measuring spoon which are nice extras. — The price is a bit high but I would have bought it if we hadn't received it as a gift.  — Looks great on the counter with the chrome finish.  Compliments the stainless appliances nicely. — Love… read full review »

I've had this coffee maker for about a week now and can't find any area where Cuisinart could have improved it. — Set up was a breeze. All the controls are very intuitive ...almost like this thing was designed by Apple. It's easy to use, which is important when you rely on coffee to kick start the old brain cells in the morning.  The adjustable warmer with its time adjustable shut off is a great idea.  Every thing fits together as it should, unlike my last coffeemaker. I have the brushed finish which is soo easy to clean. —… read full review »

My husband and I are coffee fanatics. We make several pots every day. We decided to get this coffee maker after we went through 4 others in 1 year. It has been a great investment from the first day. — — Love the fact that it is programmable. Set it up for our morning coffee and it is freshly brewed when we get up. Not only that, you don't have to be a rocket scientist to set it up. — — I have recommended this coffee maker to many others. If you are looking for a new coffee maker, this is well worth it. —… read full review »

I just love it. I was using Gevalia  before and I thought they would have a great one(they are a coffee company) and it was horrible. This cuisinart works great for me. The only problem I have is after 2 hours when the pot shuts off, I don't know hot to keep it warm. There is no switch to turn it back on again. I looked in the directions and it wasn't in there either. I simply put it in a thermos, now. Anyway it makes great coffee, doesn't drip from the pot, beeps when it's finished brewing. It's… read full review »
