Just received my 12 cup Cuisinart Brew Central Programmable Coffeemaker DCC1200 as an exchange for a broken DCC100 Coffee Bar ($19). Very nice touch from an excellent company named Cuisinart.

The unit itself is just beautiful with its clean lines & the always white finish (or you can buy black). A wet...

I was looking for a high quality coffeemaker as I have grown to love some of the exotic coffees out there now.  Research pointed me toward Cuisinart.  For $70 (Costco pricing) I was able to get a brushed stainless steel digital programmable drip coffee maker.  While the time function owrked well,... review »

I have an older model of this excellent drip coffee maker from the good people at Cuisinart, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Whether you're brewing freshly ground organic Sumatran or something off of the grocery store shelf, the Brew Central will bring out the best in your coffee. Thanks to its gold-mesh filter, there is no need for those pesky paper filters that inevitably add the taste of wet newspaper to your morning eye-opener.

I can vouch for the durability of this machine, as I have been making coffee on it most every morning for the past five years, and it still works as well as...

I may not be a coffeeholic, but I do know a good cup of black coffee. This maker is the best for the money. Scrap your Mr. Coffees' add a few extra bucks to what your willing to spend and buy a Cuisinart. You won't regret it.

The unit itself is just beautiful with its clean lines & the always white finish (or you can buy black). A wet rag cleans it nicely. The carafe is drip proof, no more hot coffee running on the floor or my feet as Mr Coffee pots did. You also can sneak a cup before the brew cycle is complete.

A charcoal water filter is inserted in the holder after a soak to remove the black. If you have unfiltered water, this...

Once upon a time I had a beautiful blue Kitchenaid coffee make that made wonderful coffee & looked great sitting on my counter.  Much to my chagrin I was notified that it was subject to a recall so for safety I packed it up & shipped it off.  The replacement they sent me (for free) was a completely different model since my previous one was no longer made.  The least of my complaints was that it was white; the biggest was that due to a design flaw in the pause-&-serve feature, it overflowed quite frequently.  Imagine my frustration!  To their credit Kitchenaid offered to replace it again however... review »

I bought the Cuisinart because of the reviews I read while shopping for a new coffeemaker. My old one just wasn't keeping the coffee hot. Don't have to worry about that with this one!! The adjustable temp. warming plate is great. The coffee is delicious, I am VERY happy with is product!!!!! The only draw back for me (I'm quite short,5' ) is the cup markings on the inside of the water reservoir are hard to see. I use the markings on the pot,and that seems to be fine.

This coffee  maker is great! I am able to set it to go on whenever I like. I always have fresh coffee. The "cup meter" is easy to read. You can make as much coffee as you need or will drink. It filters the water great! I can pour 1/2 way through the brew and the coffee still tastes good.... you don't get that with many coffee makers. I LOVE IT!

Great coffee maker!  East to program, easy to use, brews quickly, easy to clean, great looking!  It's the whole package!!   I would highly recommend it.  Got mine on sale at LinensNThings, used my 20% off coupon, ended up paying what I'd would've paid for a cheapie coffee maker at WalMart.  Stainless steel looks great in my kitchen.

Should have purchased it a long time ago.  I've been through 3 coffeemakers in 4 years.  Love the stainless steel look.  Makes a great cup of coffee.  I contemplated purchasing this for three years--glad I made the right decision.

Been using the DCC-1200 for about 2 weeks now. I can't believe what some people have been complaining about - this thing just works! After reading many of the reviews only 2 things concerned me - not… being able to see how much water you're putting in the reservoir (yes, I admit it, I fill it up with kitchen faucet hose) and excessive water pouring out the back when you lift the top lid. I'm happy to report that the model I received has improvements that minimize and/or eliminate these issues. Not sure if I have a new/improved model but it has bright, white, horizontal # markers on the...

I bought this pot because it was on sale and had the features that I wanted in coffee pot.  I now know I would have paid more if I had known how good the pot works.  I use both pre-ground coffee and freshly ground whole bean coffee.  Pot makes coffee well and the strength selector actually works! This pot is easy to clean and setting it up to make coffee using the autobrew cycle is also easy.  I make at least two pots a day and have no complaints to make.  I would definitely buy this pot again.  Ironically, I didn't want to purchase this pot initially because I had another pot by this company... review »

This product makes fabulous coffee.  It includes a charcoal filter to keep the water purified.  There are a variety of settings available including a preset that will automatically begin brewing at the time you want.  A series of three beeps notify you when the coffee is ready and then again just before the coffee maker turns itself off - approximately one hour later.  I am often forgetful about turning off my coffee maker, so this is a great safety feature.  I also hate making coffee in the morning, so preparing it at night and setting the start time for the next morning is perfect for me. ...

I've gone through 2 Cuisinart coffee makers.  The coffeemaker itself is extremely attractive, modern, trendy, etc.  I loved how it looked in my kitchen.  But, they both stopped functioning.  After putting the water in, it wouldn't do anything.  (the pump?)  At first I was mad but did go out and buy a 2nd one because I really did like it.  That one had the same problem.  I got about 3 months use out of both of them.  I actually kept the box and noticed that it was a "refurbished" model.  Enough said.  I won't buy a 3rd one.  Coffee will taste the same regardless of the coffee maker. ...

We purchased our DCC-1200W about a year ago, and are very satisfied with it. It often goes on sale for about $80, and we were able to get an additional 10% off at Macy's. The fill cavity is not the best but I've learned to pour water into it with my left hand while resting the bottom of the carafe on the opposite corner, and tipping/pouring slowly. It brews a consistently good pot of coffee each time. The DCC-1200W also has a setting for brewing 4 cups or less. This comes in handy on work days when my wife and I each have a single mug of coffee before leaving home. It let's us know when it's...
