Cuisinart Brew Central DCC-1200 Coffee Maker — 

I was looking for a high quality coffeemaker as I have grown to love some of the exotic coffees out there now.  Research pointed me toward Cuisinart.  For $70 (Costco pricing) I was able to get a brushed stainless steel digital programmable drip coffee maker.  While the time function owrked well, it certainly didn't make any better coffee than a $25 Mr. Coffee.
