So convenient!

The Cuisinart  CSB76 Handheld blender is so convenient!  I like to use it when I make my home made spaghetti sauce--after i stew the tomatoes, i used to puree them in the blender, but now I don't have to make that big mess.  The handhelp belnder goes right into the pot.  It doesn't have the same strength as a regular blender, so if you were trying to chop up hard veggies or something you might have trouble.  But it's perfect for soups and sauces on the stove.  My husband likes to make smoothies right into his glass.  He sometimes finds that this doesn't chop things as smoothly as a regular... review »

Saves hours of clean-up!
Practical, Want equipment that is simple to operate, love good quality, inexpensive items, impressed with this product, looking for durability, value conscious

I make a lot of pots of soup throughout the cold weather months. My husband's favorite is creamy potato soup and with this wonderful Cuisinart Smart Stick hand blender it's a simple proposition! Just cream the potatoes right in the pot, add seasonings, etc and blend until it's the consistency that you like. Then pop off the blade and do a quick cleanup and that's all there is to it! I wish I'd gotten one years ago!!

Cuisinart Handheld Blender very economical and time saving.

My blender attachment for my stand mixer went kaput and rather than fork out for a very expensive replacement I decided to give this machine a try. Bought at Bed Bath and Beyond with the 20% off coupon it proved to be a very worthwhile investment. I make large batches of soup and tomato sauce for the freezer and, prior to purchasing this gadget, would use a couple of large pans and the aforementioned blender, all of which took ages to clean up. This blender cut the workload and pots used in half. Pop the thing into the pan of soup or sauce, whir it around for a couple of minutes and presto... nice...
