I love my Cuisinart Belgian Waffle Maker! The maker is compact so it doesn't take up much room on a cupboard shelf. It is not dishwasher safe, but very easy to wipe down. There is no browning option, just the light that turns green when it is done cooking the perfect Belgian waffle.
I have 3 kids and this machine gets used a lot. They often wonder why all waffles are not as big as moms. (Belgian vs. regular waffles?) And making homemade is healthier than the frozen kind. The recipe I use is "Mom's Waffle Recipe" from the booklet that came with the maker. It is a simple recipe that only takes a few minutes to whip together. The waffles are light and fluffy, just like from a restaurant.
