The Cuisinart Brand Lives Up To Its Name Again!
A friend of mine bought this toaster oven a few months ago when it was offered on Rue La La at a RIDICULOUS deal! I saw it in person at her house and thought it looked SO much nicer than it did on the website. She raved about it and said it has been one of the best appliances she has ever owned.
I kept my eyes peeled and watched Rue La La like a hawk and, after 2 months, my stalking paid off. At the deal price of $99 including shipping, this baby was mine! When it came to my door, I ripped open the box and set it up immediately.
It was super easy to assemble..came with the toaster oven itself, a broiling tray and rack and a regular toasting rack. We haven't baked or broiled in it but my fiancee has garlic bread with EVERY MEAL. At first, he hated the toaster oven. He wanted our $15 Wal-Mart toaster oven back.
I found that when you toast something on both toaster settings, the bread becomes burnt on one side since the two locations for the toasting rack are either too close to the top or too close to the bottom. But if you turn down the temp from "Toast" to about 300*, it toasts to a perfect golden brown on each side!
We're big Cuisinart fans and this toaster lives up to the brand's reputation. GREAT buy!
