We purchased this fine product because it matches the rest of our Cuisinart kitchenware and appliances. It is well designed and very attractive and functional. The included spices were definitely not the freshest but who know how long it sat in a warehouse before I bought it!

Today, I decided to write reviews on some of my favorite kitchen gadgets that are non-essential but are still very handy in my kitchen. The Cuisinart 20-jar Revolving Spice Rack is one of those great gadgets. I was drawn to this spice rack for several reasons. Foremost, the revolving and compact structure of the rack fits perfectly in a nestled corner on my counter top. The variety of spices supplied is exactly the ones that I need for my cooking and baking needs. Plus, the spices are filled in the USA by Cuisinart, a company whose products I value. Another nice feature of the spice bottles is that their tops have the spice label written on top of them and are actually sifters. The bottles are positioned in a slanted position in little cubbyholes, which provide easy access, but keep the bottles secure.

I like my Cuisinart Revolving Spice rack because I enjoy cooking with herbs and they are easy to find. I keep my spice rack full of the spices, and herbs that i use the most and keep it next to the stove on my counter. I tend to keep my spices in categories.. One side has mostly baking needs, one has italian spices, one side has meat seasonings and the last side just has whats left. I am able to quickly see the spice I need and the clear bottles have a nice wide opening at the top from which I can get just the amount I need.. The jars seal securely keeping my spices fresh. And having my spices within reach not only helps while I am cooking, but it keeps my cabinet from having a lot of little tins falling over and spilling out.

I'm a big fan of Cuisinart so I'd rather go with that brand for anything in the kitchen than any other.  When we updated our kitchen from basic off white to stainless steel, I decided it was time for a new spice rack.  I really like this one, I like how it simply spins so you can find what you want.  It sits right on the counter so I can grab what I want when I need it during cooking.  My previous spice rack hung on the wall and we couldn't put it right next to the stove with how our kitchen is set up.  I like the counter rack so much better.  The jars slide right out, are clearly labeled and you get just the right amount of spice right out of the jar.  I used to have to measure everything out, now I get just a shake at a time and I can get the right amount just by eyeing the amount I get by shaking the container.  I would highly recommend this spice rack for anyone who might be in the market for a new one!

I searched high and low for an affordable spice rack, so when I saw this on sale a few days before Christmas, I had to have it.  First I'll tell you what I don't like.  I don't like the flimsy black plastic top.  Mine came in the mail with a huge crack in it.  I contacted the company about it and got no response. I can glue it, but it still shouldn't have come like that because the box it was in wasn't even damaged.  I also had a problem with one of the jars.  One just would not fit in any of the holes. It must have been distorted or something.  I also didn't get a response from the company about that either, so I have one jar sitting out.  What I like about it are it's looks.  It looks beautiful on my counter.  It turns easily and the spices look very fresh.  I don't like some of the spices though and I plan to replace them with my own.  They offer free replacement spices for 5 years, but I'm not sure how much they would charge for shipping and handling.  Overall if you get a rack that isn't damaged it's a very cool looking spice rack that would match just about any kitchen.
