I saw an ad for a toaster on sale at a local merchant and I decided to go and check it out. What I found was a very nice little toaster a great price. This Black and Decker 2-slice custom control touch CPT-60 toaster was a great little deal. This toaster was really quite perfect for what I was looking for. It was nice and small which fit into my very small kitchen and it looks really great on my really little counter. The color options were very nice too. I cose a white one but there were several other colors that would have been just as nice. This toaster is really very basic to use so it is not at all complicated or confusing. Black and Decker puts out a lot of really super products and this was just another one of them. I have purchased several of their products in the passed and have always been pleased. I will most definetly purchase another Black and Decker product in the near future.

First I want to say that this is the best looking toaster I have ever owned.  I looks very sleek and high tech.  It makes my counter look even better with it on than without it.  I got the all white model which also matches my fridge and stove. The only thing I don't like about it is that the heating elements are not real hot, which makes for better toast I'm sure, it just takes longer when you have to wait a bit for your toast to pop up.  I have never had a "slow" toaster before, so this was a shock to me. Having said that, the quality of the toasting is the best.  Even on both sides, digital read out to dial in the correct amount of toastiness.  I like that.  So, it looks good, toasts, good, and I would recommend this unit to anyone looking for a good working and cool looking toaster.  I have only owned it for a few months, so I will report back at a later time as to  it's quality regarding not falling apart and all that.

I usually stick with Kitchaid and other brands for my kitchen supplies, but I heard from a friend that this toaster was nice and it was definitley worth it for the price, so I decided to give it a try. I love that its custom controlled and the look of it fits nicely with that of my other kitchen appliances. It has a stainless steel crumb tray that you can use in the dishwasher or sink, whichever you prefer. That alone is a very nice feature. It is very simple to use. You can adjust the lightness or darkness that you would like your bread to come out as. My only complaint is that Cuisinart does not produce a 4-slice toaster in the Custon Control Touch CPT-60 make. And if they do, I have yet to come across one. My fiance and I are bread-eaters and we definitley use more than 2 slices of toast per serving so it would be nice to be able to have the convience of a 4-slice toaster. Other than that, it is definitley a good investment.
