I asked my husband to buy this machine for me for Christmas instead of jewelry, and have no regrets! I love all the sorbets, ice milks and ice creams that we can make. It is simple to use, and the results taste great!

My only complaint is how loud the machine is. I can't really let the machine run while we are having dinner unless I put the ice cream maker far away from the kitchen and dining room. But other than that inconvenience, I can't complain.

The Cuisinart 1.5 Quart Electric Ice Cream maker is a great product that I would highly recommend.  It is easy to use right out of the box and you can create rich and smooth ice cream in a matter of minutes.  You place the bowl in the freezer and it is ready to use in about six hours.  If you do not have a separate freezer it takes up a lot of space which is one of the only shortcomings of this product.  To make ice cream you basically just use heavy  cream, flavoring, sugar and any mixins that you might want to use.  There is no need for salt or anything that you would not normally keep...

I "borrowed" my friends and just kept it. (Luckily, she got another.)  Cuisinart 1.5 qt ice cream maker gives me the opportunity to have lots of different flavors any time I want.  I make it a few times a week and it is a good amount to share amongst 3-4 people, someimes just 2.  I can adjust the amount to make for just me.
