Cuisenart Mini Deep Fryer Review

The Cuisinart Mini Deep Fryer is perfect for fries, egg rolls, and other small items. It has produced very fresh-tasking food every time! My husband and I have really enjoyed how crispy the food is, and even our guests have remarked that our fries taste just like fast food fries (in a good way!).

Cleaning up is also very easy, although I do wish that the compartment the oil sits in could pop out for more convenient washing. I generally pour the used oil out and use a paper towel to clean the inside of the unit.

I have only two real complaints about this product, and these are the reasons I have not rated it 5 stars. Firstly, the unit uses a great deal of oil. I realize that with any deep fryer you are going to have to use a lot of oil, but we go through an entire (small) bottle of oil each time. My other complaint is that the cord that goes from the unit into the electrical outlet does not stay plugged into the unit very well, and really any movement will cause the unit to become unplugged from the unit. I have been very frustrated a few times when I realized halfway through frying something that the oil is no longer hot.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this unit to my friends.
