I went to Cuesta from 2004-2007 and was able to transfer to Cal Poly with a GPA of 3.14. I am confident that if I went to any other college I would have not of gotten in with that GPA. The college had a lot of programs focused on your success. They helped me with tutoring and helped me fill out my college application to transfer (all for free). They offer many classes from GE to specialty classes. I was able to get a hospitality diploma on the side which helped me get a good job at a hotel to help pay for college. There are some bad teachers though they can easily be avoided by going to cuestaratings.com and doing some research. While I had to commute 25 minutes to Cuesta (Hancock is technically closer) it was worth it because they offered me a wonderful college experience.
