"RUUUUUDI! Can you please round up all your glasses and put them in the dishwasher!" A variation on a refrain I hear over and over again, seldom so politely put.
What do I have to say for myself? Guilty as charged. It's true. If I've been there, there's a glass with my fingerprints on it. Forensic testing will reveal it was Crystal Light Peach Tea. I'm addicted to Iced Tea. And, I don't know how it happened but Crystal Light's Peach Tea became my beverage of choice.
It's light, refreshing, sweet but sugarless and oh so easy to make. Sure, I used to make real Iced Tea. You know, brew it, chill it, sweeten it, then ice it. But oh the bother of it all! Some days I drink as much as a half gallon of Ice Tea. No, I'm afraid preparing it from scratch just doesn't work for me. So give me Crystal Light.
Really Iced Tea?
Good question. Tastes like it. Perhaps it's a little lighter than home brewed, but light is good. It says it has Iced Tea in it. Instant Iced Tea, but iced tea is right there on the label. But so is an awful lot of other stuff. Nothing too alarming to me, but still there's stuff.
My Viewpoint
Hey, it tastes great, it's easy to prepare and when I buy the mega-package at BJ's Wholesale Club it's cheaper than water. It quenches my thirst better than anything else I may drink. So I guess I'll go and pour another glass. What's that? Oh, you'll have to excuse me now. I have glasses to round up. "Yes hun!"
Bottoms up!
