We have stayed at the Crown Reef numerous times. Our teen children love the location and the number of pools. There are also programs for children of all ages, such as scavenger hunts and arts and crafts time. The motel has a great breakfast--$2.50 for bacon, eggs, grits, hashbrowns, toast. A Damon's Rib Shack is next door, and they offer wonderful lunches and dining on the beach. We have always been pleased with the responsiveness and courtesy of the motel staff. As stated, the only problem we have encountered are frequent elevator problems, but we  generally need the exercies anyway. We would definitely recommend the Crown Reef to others.
