Cross —

This is one of the better Alex Cross stories. It ties up some loose ends and explains in much more detail the murder of Alex's wife, Maria, how she died and the thoughts Alex has on who may have done it. The book is fast paced and interesting. At times it is a little to visual with the details of the murders. The Cross family, three children, Alex and Nana, is interesting and real. There were many twists and turns in this book and it definitely keeps you guessing until the very end. It was a page turner until the very last page. Patterson is an easy fast paced read. My only issue with these novels is the violence and the detail of it. I think the books could be just as good and fun without that level of violence.
