Cross —

With the newest of the Dr. Alex Cross series, this just adds to the need for more.  It's as if the characters are members of a family with you and you worry about them, grieve with them, celebrate them and end up loving them.  Each book in the series can be read as a separate book, but it is so much better reading them in order.  I have enjoyed Alex very much and look forward to further exploits in future books.  Maybe one day, he'll get married again?  One can only hope for his happiness with women.  I just wish more men treated women as well as he does.  He's a hopeful romantic with a big heart and seems willing to forgive most any transgressions his family or special someone has.  That and being a cop for the FBI and a psychologist and a father!!  With the work he does, he doesn't have the ability to always leave work at work.  It tends to follow him at times, wherever he goes.
