I belong to a book club online and bought this book with second thoughts as I have started to just not get into his cross books much anymore. I liked Patterson much bette when he wrote alone and this cross series book was great. It kept me wanting to read and enjoying every minute that I was reading....

I have read several books by Jmaes Patterson, but I could not put down 'Cross Country'. Patterson's descriptions of the horrors facing African nations today were disturbing and one hopes they will raise consciousness around the world. The character development of the antagonist could have been more fully developed, but he stayed true to the character of Alex Cross.

I love the whole Alex Cross series and this book is no exception. Can't wait for the next book to see what is going on in the Cross house.
