I have always loved Crosley products. As an 80's baby who missed out on the vinyl era, I can't give a comparative review, but I can tell you that this entertainment center has really great sound. If I'm playing a record upstairs, people tend to think I have a huge expensive entertainment center hooked up and are usually surprised to see the source. I've had the **Crosley Arlington Stack-O-Matic **for a little over a year and I have not had one qualm with this product. It's sturdy, handsome, easy to clean, and has a nostalgic aesthetic that I've truly come to appreciate. The only feature that is a bit primitive is the cassette player on the side of the unit, which only has one multi-use button. However, I have very few tapes and only use it for my cassette adapter when I want to listen to my mp3 player - in which case, the sound quality is understandably lessened, but it works fine. (An mp3 dock is obviously the better choice, as cassette tape is a highly degradable medium.) Overall, I fantastic purchase and I'm excited to see what Crosley comes out with in the future.
