With my problem feet (bunions , hammertoes) finding any shoes at all is a challenge. For casual shoes, Crocs are the answer. Nothing hurts! I can wear them all day with or with out socks. You'll want to buy your first pair in person so you can be sure and get the size right (Hallmark has them, also Beauty First) but once you've established that, there are tons of colors and styles at Crocs.com. Yes they are ugly. But in a cute way; and the colors give them style. All my artist friends wear them, men and women both. And when they get dirty, hose them off. Downsides? Because of the soft plastic/rubber/whatever material they're made out of, you feet will sweat so for summer the Cayman, or some other style with the holes, is imperative. Also, if you wear the same pair all day every day the way I do, the tread wears down pretty fast and then they're a real hazard on a wet surface. But at these prices, ~30 bucks, the idea is to have a whole wardrobe of them anyway.
