The Crocs Beach Shoe are not the most attractive shoes I own but they are one of the most versatile and comfortable shoes I own.
This style of Croc is the original. They look somewhat like garden clogs but the similarities stop there. These are unisex and many men are catching the Croc wave and wearing theirs proudly.
The Crocs Beach Shoe is made from a durable resin material that is completely waterproof. They come in many colors from white (for medical use) to brights, jewel tones, and just about any color you could want. I own red, blue, and black in this style and other colors in other Croc styles.
These shoes have a back strap that can be worn around the heel or flipped forward around the foot bed and the shoes will then be worn as clogs. I wear mine with the strap in the back for more stability.
Inside on the foot bed, there are little nubs that help with circulation, stability, and just plain feel good. The soles are thick and nonslip but the entire shoe is feather light.
This style has several ventilation holes to keep feet cool. You can wear them on the beach and even in water and the sand and water will pour right out of the holes, leaving your feet free of residue.
Let's talk about comfort. These shoes are like walking on clouds. They are so light, I hardly feel like I have any shoes on at all. The front of the foot is made wide so the toes don't feel squeezed. The back strap is soft and doesn't dig in.
These aren't the most attractive but I reach for mine over just about any other shoe I own. Although I don't work on my feet for hours like some, these alleviate leg pain and my knee pain from a previous surgery. If you do work on your feet, these are a must have. Many nurses and doctors are turning to Crocs to keep them comfortable on long shifts.
Great for wearing with jeans, shorts, or any casual clothing, the Crocs Beach Shoe is not at all just for the beach. They are just as great for shopping, hanging out, camping, boating, and any activity that requires a lot of legwork and great stability.
All styles of Crocs are wonderful. I like the original Beach Style the best but own at least one pair each of other styles including the brand new ballerina flat Croc that blows away any traditional ballerina flat I have worn.
Conclusion
I love my Crocs! For $29.99-$49.99 depending on style, you will too. They will last forever with minimal care and feel like you're walking on a cloud. 5 stars for the ugly shoe that won my heart!
