The benefit of this slow cooker is that you can take the cooked meal from the cooker to the table.  Extremely easyto use and clean.

In the past, I have never really cared about using crock pots other than perhaps for Chili. Now that I have this 6 quart crock pot, I love cooking everything with it. I even use my 6 quart crock pot for my favorite turkey breast. Get up on Sunday morning put turkey breast or roast in crock pot and when you get home from church, dinner is ready, tender and delicious. Used to eat out a lot because I am not a cook, but I feel like a great cook using this crock pot. Buy one, you will be glad you did, actual pot goes into dishwasher and is pretty server also.

I have had this crockpot for something like 8 to 10 years. It still works great and looks almost brand new after all this time.

When I first got it I was replacing one of the tall crockpots. This one was much more practical. I love the oval shape. Much better for cooking things that are oblong like a roast.

For a long time I was a single mom. Trying to cook a good dinner for two kids after a long day at work can be quite a chore. With this crock pot I could cok almst any type if meat and vegetables and the kids had a really good meal instead of having to wait for the weekend. May times I got...

I bought the crockpot for the locking lid. After 5 months, the little pieces in the hinge fell off. I called the company and they don't provide pieces, and the crock pot is out of stock. They were kind enough to send me a new crockpot, but it doesn't have the locking lid.

This slow cooker is awesome. I use it to make soups, roasts, chilis, and many one pot dinners. Put your stuff on in the morning, and when you come home from work supper is done and ready. So easy to clean.

i have a crock pot and it is the greatest thing since sliced bread. You put you food in and in 4-6 hours on high or 8 hours on low and  man you have a meal waiting for you. I like cabage rolls and they cook great in this. but it isnt limined to savory foods .You can also make cakes and drinks in it. Sometimes on hoildays i cook eggs and then im free to cook other stuff to go with the eggs dish. My sister when she has lefted over roast beef she cooks pinto beans and the roast and it is great. really has a different  taste. And now they have the bags you can put in the pot and there is no clean...

I have this Crock Pot but my crock insert is white instead of black. I bought this slow cooker probably in the late 1990s. I own three slow cookers (the Rival 3-1/2-quart oval and the Rival 6-quart), and this is the best one and the one I use the most. It is 2-1/2 quarts and is perfect for two people. It cooks the best out of all three of my slow cookers as it does not overcook the food as the other two will. I find that the cooking times listed in most slow cooker cookbooks are very accurate for this Crock Pot, but for my other two larger models, I must reduce the cooking time. I have never...

Rival 6 quart crock pot

Rival 6 quart crock pot

We had to replace our old crock pot because the cord on our old one disconnected and we had had it for years any ways. So we bought this rival six quart crockpot to replace it. It is a great crockpot.  Its not as good as the crockpot brand crockpot that we had but it still does a good job.  It is oval shaped with a silver base and a black oval  insert.  It came with a cord that you put over the handles and over the top that allows the pot and lid to stay in place so that you don't have to worry about it when you take it with you to family gatherings or parties.  We  use it to make...

I have owned 2 of these crockpots and I love them.  I only replace my first one because my son accidentally broke the crock. I love the fact that we can take meals to eat at church and I don't have to worry about it being all over the car when I arrive at my destination.  I think the low heat setting is the best after the initial first hour on high. It is nice for a busy mother of 8 to have a little help in the kitchen and my crockpot has become that friend.  Putting a meal into the crockpot at the start of my day and allowing me to control the rest of my day.  Even when the unexpected arrises...

At first glance, I love the deep burgundy color and its oval shape. It cooks wonderfully and evenly. The food doesn't even stick. It has three settings, warm, low and high. Just set it and forget it. It is also very easy to clean. I have never had a crockpot that is this easy to clean with its stoneware liner being and added feature that is great. Plus, it has a removable server where you can take it directly from the pot to the table. And it holds its heat very well. The food stays warm and the bowl is very attractive to complement any table setting. It is very durable and sturdy. This is a product...

Hamilton Beach Slow Cooker 5.5-Quart Oval

My husband and I enjoy dining it, don't get me wrong. However, we used to eat out a lot more than we should have. Why? Because we both work long hours and by the time we both get home, neither one of us wanted to waste time to cook a meal. We were typically starving, so it was just easier to run and grab something.

Now we are proud owners of this slow cooker! We just set it up in the morning before we head out to work, and by the time we come home after work, we have a delicious fully cooked meal, without any of the hassle of trying to cook once we hit the door. The small investment we made to...
