When I moved into my first house last year, the first thing I asked my mom for was a Crockpot. I had seen how easy it was to prepare meals in hers, and knew that I needed one for myself. I am so glad that I asked for one. I use mine at least once a week, and I don't know what I would do without it. Due to a family allergy, it can be very hard for me to find foods that everyone in the house can eat. I can't serve many frozen or pre-packaged meals, so my Crockpot has been a lifesaver for us. It's especially helpful due to the fact that everyone in the house is always so busy. My soon to be husband works at least 40 hours a week, and I attend college full time, so juggling dinner can sometimes be a hassle for us. It can be very easy to just cave in and order out for dinner, but the Crockpot makes this expense unnecessary for us. Before I go to classes in the morning, I just put dinner in the Crockpot and let it do it's work for me. When I get home later that day, all I have to do is set the table and serve. I love it.
