Crock-Pot SCVT650 Review

I bought this Crock-pot at Bed Bath n Beyond for about $100 earlier this year. I have had many crockpots, but this one by far is the best made. It has a stainless steel crockpot base with black detailing, the crock itself is a black ceramic. It is very large and great for making big batches of soup during these cold fall days. It is a 6-quart oval crock, has a timer feature so you can program it for how long to cook based on every half hour setting. It has a High, Low, and a Keep Warm function. When the time is up and the timer beeps, it is a very loud beep so you can hear that the cooking is done anywhere in the house. It automatically switches over to the Keep Warm feature when the cooking time has expired and remains on this until you turn it off and are ready to serve the meal. I love how it is so easy to keep clean. I just remove the crock from the stainless steel base and wash by hand or stick it in the top drawer of our dishwasher.
