I purchased this before last Thanksgiving Day so that it would make cooking meals easier that day. It definitely goes above and beyond in that sense. I love my Crock-Pot Duo Cook & Serve Slow Cooker because it saves me so much time when I need to cook multiple dishes or side dishes. It also does a good job at keeping the items warm while they are being served. The only downside to this is a personal issue. I do not see myself using this nearly as much as I use my regular crock pot simply because I do not need to cook two things side by side too often. This is definitely a wonderful product to own for parties, get-togethers, Christmas, Thanksgiving, or whatever other holiday. Time to Heat It does not take long at all to heat up. I have no complaints in this area. Cooking Performance The cooking performance is overall great. Ease of Use It is very easy to use overall. It is pretty straightforward. Design The design is really nice. I like being able to cook two things at once.

I purchased this because it came in handy in my home when different people wanted different things for dinner. I found that it comes in quite handy when one wants chili and the other wants soup. I also like that I can cook in it and store the remaining in the removable pots when it is done cooking. It is a very convenient unit to have in the home Time to Heat Almost no time to heat to temperature. Cooking Performance Very good cooking performance, no complaints in this area. Ease of Cleaning Super easy to clean this unit. All that is really needed is to rinse it out, and nothing sticks to the pots, which is a major plus for those who hate to wash dishes. Ease of Use This unit is very easy to use, just plug and set the temperature and you are good to go. Design I like the design of this unit, very simple and it fits with my taste in appliances. Durability I usually use this during the fall and winter months very often and it held up pretty good for me during those times of constant use.

If you're looking for a great slow cooker with two separate containers that allows your family and guests to serve themselves, get the crock-pot duo cook and serve slow cooker. I have a couple of different slow cookers, but this one probably tops the list. It allows me to have two dishes cooking at the same time, even while I'm cooking or preparing something else. It's so convenient when I'm busy to have a warming and cooling setting so I don't have to try to do so much and let everyone serve themselves comfortably. Even when there's not a big gathering and just used at home, if myself or my husband are dieting, I'm able to make two meals at the same time. Another awesome feature is it is light weight which makes it easy to move and the pots easily slide out for easy cleaning. I absolutely love it. It does not take long to heat and cooks every meal I made to perfection. It is inexpensive and definitely worth trying. Super satisfied customer.

I have a large family so this is the best crock pot that I could use when I am having to make multiple dishes that I would like to use the crock pot for. I like to make buffet type meals and having two different cooking areas in one crock pot is a real time saver for me. It is nice to be able to put two things in and cook them at one time, I usually do a roast in one side and then some kind of big side dish in the other. This heats up really fast so things can start cooking right away and it is great to be able to just set it and then let it do all the work while you do other stuff throughout the day.I also like to use this to make meals for a couple of nights, I like to make two separate batches of soup in this, it is great to be cooking them simultaneously and not have to spend a lot of time, I can cook them both and have meals for a few days cooking with little work out of me. This has a great design to fit up on your counter and clean up is very easy. It is one of my favorite kitchen products and makes cooking a whole lot easier, more convenient, and fun.

I love to make meals in the crockpot. I like to be able to have dinner ready when we walk in the door. We are a busy family and taking time to prepare a meal is not always the easiest. I like to throw something in a crockpot the night before and go. I also battle with picky eaters and am inclined to cater to the picky eaters. The crockpot duo has been a great addition to my kitchen. I am able to make two versions of a meal for my family to share. I no longer have to prepare several crockpots in order to satisfy my family's need. I also like the crockpot duo for special occasions. Normally your counter gets cluttered with crockpots and cords and it can be a big mess. With the crockpot duo, you are taking up a little more room, but one less cord to deal with. You can prepare meatballs in one and a dip in the other. Really the possibilities are endless. The crockpot duo is easy to use. My food always turns out as expected. It is always cooked in the time I allot. It is very easy to clean. I really have nothing negative to say about the crockpot duo.

This is exactly one of those things that you don't know you need until you have it. I got this as a birthday gift and as someone that loves to cook for her family, this actually came in handy a lot! I wouldn't exactly recommend this for the main dish but this is great to cook side dishes in for your family meal or special dips and appetizers for parties. I love this because it makes my job so much easier. I often time cook my starch in one of them and my vegetable in the other. It cooks at a low or high heat and I will tell you it does a great job. The pots are a bit smaller so keep that in mind, but I could easily make a eight to six person serving of whatever I want in the two pots. I also love this especially for parties. I love that you can bring two dishes in one container. I no longer felt like I was shuffling around all of these dishes. I could keep everything where it needed to be and keep it warm the whole time in this wonderful crock pot! No more reheating once we got to the party! This crock pot was such a success that my sister in law loved it so much she went and bought one for herself!

I'm a vegie gal, hubby meat and potatoes. So when I saw this Crock Pot Duo slow cooker I knew it was exactly what I needed! Whatever marking team came up with this idea was really thinking it through. Doubt you'll find much to complain about, except maybe the smaller sizes of the pots. Getting past that, it fits nicely on the counter. The dual controls allows for perfect heating and early shut-off or simmer if one meal is done before the other. The lids fit well and are glass, but a CON is they can get hot and think the round top is cheap plastic. It's so nice to be able to make 2 things at once, my first meal was chicken and yellow rice on one side, vegie soup on the other. I've even made a few desserts, apple cobbler is great. Buy 2, would make a perfect wedding gift!

For Christmas my husband bought me the CrockPot Due Cook and Serve Slow Cooker.  He saw it at the store and KNEW I needed it.  He actually said "every good cook needs a double crockpot!".  Kind of melted my heart there! Very sweet indeed. I didn't know I had a need for a double crockpot though, and started contemplating what WOULD I cook in there?  It sat up on my refridgerator for over a month...while I tried to think what I could make it in it.  My Mom gave me some ideas of making a main dish, plus a veggie.  Hmm...sounds good!  So, it was finally decided I would make a meat dish (crockpot cheeseburger), and in the other a side dish (diced potatoes). After about 20 minutes of use I started to smell rubber burning.  It was very weird.  And I looked all around the Crockpot to make sure it wasn't smoking, yeah, it was that strong!  I knew it was coming from this device, as I could smell it when I put my nose up to it.  But, it never did smoke, never caught on fire.  Eventually my husband I decided that it was just new, and that's probably why. It cooked everything perfectly.  The 2 2.5 quart "pots" were the perfect size for our size family (5).  Not too much, but enough just for us.  I liked that it had separate controls, because the cheeseburger mix needed to be on low, while the potatoes needed to be high.  That worked out awesome! Within a few hours the house was smelling wonderfully and everyone wanted to open the lids!  NO NO!  Finally when dinner rolled around everyone was happy to eat, and all was cooked to perfection.  The best part...pull out containers that easily fit into the dishwasher! All in all this crockpot will work great for us, and I'm so glad to have received it as a gift!  I'm certain I'll be using it more and more!
