I have grown up with crock-pots and LOVE them. Crock pots are so handy when you are going to a party and need to bring a dish or even if your just getting off a late shift and know you are not going to want to cook when you get home. I love being able to put things in the crock-pot and walk away without the fear that my house is going to burn down or I am going to burn dinner.  I frequently take my crock pot to parties with food so that I can bring hot food.  The only downer to the crock-pot I have is the fact that the lid still can come off.  I know that there are crock-pots that have locking...
