Crock-Pot 6-Quart Slow Cooker Reviews

This crock pot works like a champ.  My grandmother gave it to me for Christmas in 2004.  I don't know how I got along so long without one.  Granted, it doesn't get used much in the summer, however in the other months it gets used constantly for ham & beans, chili, and all kinds of other things.

I also use mine as a bottle warmer. 

I like the feature on mine that allows three different heat settings (high, low, warm).  Most other crock pots typically only have high and low, which, when you just want to keep something warm, will scorch the sides after a while keeping it on low heat.

After having mentioned the fact that i would really like to try cooking with a slow cooker, I received a Crock-Pot as a christmas present about four years ago. I love it! It makes cooking so much easier! The day after I opened it I went to the bookstore and purchased a few cook books that are written for slow cooker use. My Crock-Pot has three heat settings, low, high, and warm. I have found through trial and error that the low setting is almost always the way to go. If you in a pinch for time you can use the high setting, the Crock-Pot holds in so much moisture that even on high it wont dry out...
