I would choose a different model next time.

I have to say that I really do like my crockpot. It is the first one that I have ever owned, and the dinner possibilities are endless, often with very little work involved! I call it my husband's second wife. I feel as though I am multitasking as dinner merrily bubbles away without my interference. The pulled pork recipe that came with the pot is a basic favorite, and incredibly easy. The countdown feature is very nice (love that it switches to warm when done), and the beep when it is finished is loud enough, but not annoying. Yes, this is important to me, even though it seems a little thing! The reason why I say that I would get a different model, is that after we had used it a few times, the plastic hinge broke. It wouldn't have been an issue, if there were replacement parts available. We currently still use the damaged crockpot, but now there are two holes in the lid where the hinge used to be attached. It doesn't seem to affect the cooking, but the fact that it is broken/unfixable is driving me nuts!

Alas, I feel like a Negative Nellie on this website, but I want to get the word out about this item.  I purchased this to replace my 1970's burnt-orange crockpot.  I was excited by the removable stoneware crock and the timer feature.  Yeah, I know, "excited" about a crockpot - but, it's those little things that keep me going... The first unit that I purchased overcooked the meat.  It was done in half the time.  I called up the company and I was told that crockpots needed a "breaking in" period.  I used it several more times to break it in and each time it cooked the item in record time - usually half of what the recipe recommended.  It also burned anything that had a sauce.  BBQ sauces were scorched.  Thinking I had a malfunctioning item, and fearing a fire if I left this item unattended, I took it back to the store and got another identical one.  Unfortunately, it has the same problems!  The "Keep Warm" cycle is more like low and the "Low" cycle is more like high. Now, if you need to cook things quickly, this might be a good thing for you to have.  However, I think the food that I've prepared in this tastes "off."  Yes, the meat is tender, but it's not savory, like my 1970's crockpot.  Plus, I only use this item when I am at home.  I really am afraid that it could start a fire.  One last note:  This item does fit in a dishwasher.  However, the plastic handle part of the glass lid traps water, which turns to nasty gunk.  I have to unscrew the handle, wash everything and then reassemble.  I'm not a neat freak - it's just a gross thing to see sitting in your cupboard!
