Croatia-great travel destination!

love to travel, budget-conscious traveler

Pros

Still affordable, Not as touristy as rest of Europe, Great diving location, Beautiful beaches, Interesting cities/sightseeing, Some places don't use Euro

Cons

Some places still need translator

Croatia is still an affordable, beautiful place to travel. Very safe. I took tour not knowing what to expect of Croatia. Very surprised on how clean, friendly, and beautiful Croatia is. Not as many tourists there as the rest of Europe. Does not use Euros in many places. Lots of outdoor things to do/see. Bring comfortable walking shoes! Weather was beautiful. Would recommend Croatia to anyone.

I had a friend who was there last year. She said she was surprised to see how beautiful the area was. I'm trying to talk my husband into an overseas vacation and would love Croatia to be one of our stops.
