Most HelpfulQuick View: I am a fan of illusions and magic but not the hokey old-fashioned kind. I want to be awed and say, "How could that be?" Criss Angel's Mindfreak show makes me say that every Tuesday night when I watch him on A&E. Plus, he's kind of cute. Heh.

Most HelpfulCriss Angel's Mind Freak never ceases to amaze. Admittedly, I've always been a sucker for a good magician. I especially like close up and street style magic. Criss Angel does that style of magic with amazing skill. He combines the street magic style of David Blaine with the stunt style magic of Harry Houdini and the persona of a rock star. The "How did he do that?" factor is off the charts. Mind Freak is not your father's stage smoke and mirrors magic show or the magician you booked for your little one's birthday party. It's an edgy, stunning, magic show for adults.

Like many (young) women out there, I was first drawn by his charming personality and charisma. After watching just one episode, it left me in total awe and I asked the question everyone asks, either to themselves or out loud, "how did he do that?"
Three seasons later, I am still an avid Criss Angel fan. I would recommend this show to anyone whether they believe in magic or not. I feel that Criss is a brilliant entertainer, as well as a genuinely good person and illustionist....

Mind Freak
Mind -Freak is a very good illusionist. He really make you think twice about what your eyes are really looking at. How he goes up to every day people and do illusions and it will be mind-blowin. He levitates off the ground. Pulling objects out of his body. He even do a couple voodoo type tricks with a voodoo doll. Cris Angel will leave your mind blown.
I have enjoyed the television material from this performer for quite some time. Being an avid Cirque fan as well, I was thrilled to go to the show while I was in Las Vegas. I can not describe how dissapointed I was with the overall performance. The attempt to use film with live stage performance comes off a cheezy. The best part of the show, other than the final curtain, was the antics of the pre show performers. I would save your money and go see Lance Burton or O or Zumanity...money well spent on anything other than the mind farce.
AT FIRST I THOUGHT CRISS WAS AN INSANE PERSON. WHEN I TOOK THE TIME TO UNDERSTAND HIM AND THE SHOW I REALIZED SOMETHING NOT SEEN MUCH TODAY. A YOUNG MAN DEDICATED TO HIS ART, TRYING TO BRING FRESHNESS TO AN OLD CRAFT. I FIND HIS MANNER OF DOING TRICKS ENTERTAINING AND THATS WHY I WATCH TELEVISION!
Mindfreak is an interest tv show. Sure some of the tricks have been done before but Criss manages to change them enough so they do not come across as tired.
I also enjoy the fact that every few episodes he shows viewers how to do simple tricks that just about anyone can learn.
