Looked at getting one of these for a long time.  When Wal-mart finally had them on black Friday for $119, my Mom said she would chip in so I could get it for Christmas.  I have already made sympathy, birthday, and my Husband's Valentine card with it.  The cartridges can be a bit pricey, but I found a place that has them for under $40.  I also saw some places online that "rent" them.  I checked out project websites where people upload photos of things they have made with the the cricut-amazing!
