I Love my Cricket flat iron I never leave the house without straightening my hair, I have tried the generic version of the chi purchased at salley beauty supply and it just didn't so the job very well.  The reason I say that is because I have natural wavy curley hair and it frizzes very badley.  The price I paid for it was insane and it broke just after 6 weeks of having it.  The Cricket one I purchased was also a little pricey but very well worth the money I bought it in August and I have never had a problem with it.  I also like that it heats up to 400 degrees in less than a minute, it dosen't leave creases in your hair, It also has a swivel cord so it dosent knot up,  also I have never burned myself from this one because of the way it is made.  When I straightn my hair in the morning it lasts till the next moring when I get in the shower I have never ever hade a flat iron do what this one can do.  My hair also does not fry do to how much and how often I use this to be honest This is the best purchase I have made for myself in years.  So if you can I would definatley try this product out.  Your hair will be smooth soft and shiney all day long.

I enjoyed that cricket because of its size, I like how convenient it was to transport it with me , i also liked that it went to 400 d and it smooths out the hair with no crinks (or marks in the hair_ and leaves the hair smooth and healthy feeling

This is a great styling iron for all hair types, but especially long thick hair.   I can not say enough about this iron.  I have rally long thick hair and have tried all different types of irons over the years.  The Ctricket Centrix is by far the best iron I have ever used. It gets up to 400 degrees, but you can adjust the temperature.  It's re-heat time is amazing!  By the time you have combed the next secton to be straightened, it is as hot as when you started.  It is a ceramic iron and is also "ionic", that means it heats up faster and does not make your hair so staticky.  It has rounded sdges so you caqn also curl ends and helps eliminate frizz.  It has 1" "floating" plates (that means you can get a little better grip on your hair with out having to squeeze the iron closed).  It was a little on the expensive side, but well worth the price.  This iron is only sold in salons, but it is really "professional" quality.  It has a nice long cord that does not get tangled up.

Black hair takes a lot of steps to look great. I found this LOGO hair flat iron by Cricket very easy and comfortable to use. I have a manual impairment called carpal tunnel. The ability to change heat settings was a tad "tight", but all in all my hair was not burned to a crisp on a gigh setting. It is slim enough to turn like a curling iron...I'm impressed!
