Delta Portable Crib
I have had this crib for over a year (i have the natural wood color) it was a great price and works well without having a bulk expensive crib. The orginal matress was way thin but we bought another matress to use instead.
Graco Pack 'N Play Portable Playard
I was fortunate enough to be able to use my sister's pack n play when my daughter was born. We loved it. It had a changing area, wipes holder, the whole nine yards. Instead of a bassinett she slept in the bassinett portion of the pack n play. It worked great.
Then my sister had another child and we had to give it back. I opted to buy a used Evenflo pack n play thinking they were all the same. Boy was I wrong. It was a night and day difference. I promptly sold it and bought another Graco pack n play.

Kolcraft Cuddle N Care Rocking Bassinet with Light Vibes
The Kolcraft bassinet is a life saver. It takes up almost no space at all and is perfect for someone living in a small apartment or someone who has little space. The storage underneth is spacious and I was able to fit all my blankets in it (along with my cat who acted like it was her new bed). The matress is firm but thick enough to be comfertable for a new baby. Most bassinet sheet fit this matress so there is no buying a pricey sheet if you don't want to.
